An Ordinary Girl

I look in the mirror,
My reflection I see,
The hue of sadness and just a hint of me,
I want to break the glass and reach out to see,
Shatter the image,
To live and to breathe

I look in the mirror,
The intensity of me,
The burden of my emotions, my hopes and my dreams,
I see a girl not afraid to seek,
An ordinary girl,
With extraordinary dreams

I look in the mirror,
I love to see me,
Ready to pick up after she may trip,
I see a girl about to fly,
Chase her ambitions,
Run wild and free

An ordinary girl,
With extraordinary dreams

  1. I have been browsing online more than 2 hours today,
yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me.
In my view, if all web owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the net will be much more useful than ever before.

  2. First off I want to say fantastic blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you
do not mind. I was interested to find out how you center yourself
and clear your head prior to writing. I’ve had trouble clearing my
mind in getting my thoughts out. I truly do take pleasure in writing but it just seems
like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be lost simply just trying to figure out how
to begin. Any ideas or hints? Appreciate it!

Hi Valencia, First thing I tend to do is decide on what I want to write about. With me, I tend to catch a phrase that gets my attention and then I start to write about it, around it etc. I also tend to write keywords that I want to include in my writing on the side and lastly I write down any thought I get on the closest piece of paper or even in the notes on my phone. These are some of my routine habits. Some topics I struggle with and some just flow. You have to give it time πŸ™‚ Hope that helps!
